About Us

Wild Aire Farm got it's start in the 1960s, when Dr. Mills, a veterinarian, and his wife Priscilla bought the farm for their three daughters. Both parents had ridden in college and wanted their children to also enjoy horses. Many horse shows later, all three girls had competed on a national level.

In the mid-1980s, the farm was purchased by the Mills' middle daughter Nancy, and her husband Jay DiGregorio. Nancy and Jay revitalized the farm into a full-time lesson / show stable.

Greg LaPlace
- Head Instructor

Greg is our Head Instructor and all around fun guy! He's a very smart riding teacher, and has maintained Wild Aire as his base of operation for the past 25 years. Greg is also a popular N.E.H.C and M.H.C. rated horse judge. You will see his name on many prize lists throughout New England.

In addition to teaching at Wild Aire Farm, Greg gives clinics and travels to other farms to teach. His students have won or placed in many finals. Greg co-manages the Horse Power Hunter Jumper Show Series with Nancy DiGregorio. Feel free to contact him at (508) 612-3399 about judging opportunities or the horse show series.

Jessie Caprioli

Jessie Caprioli is a knowledgeable and very experienced horsewoman. With her kid-friendly style she helps run the Wild Aire Saturday Barn Camp and assists in the overall stable management.

Jessie owns several horses herself, including “Gryffindor,” a 17 hand Hanoverian gelding.

Tracy Sorrentino

Tracy has been established in the equine field for several years, and has audited and demo ridden for many USDF workshops. She has consistently trained with Sarah Geikie and has had the pleasure of riding with Deborah Moynihan, Lou Denizard, Melanie Tenney and Beth Baumert.

Tracy is trained in Pilates and incorporates this into her teaching technique at her barn and residence in Ashford, CT where she resides with her husband Jason and Falcor, her 18.1 h Hanoverian gelding, as well as a few other animals.
